Overview Pipe LayerLocation: Fort Collins, CO Pay Range: $28 to $36 per hour WW CLYDE is seeking an experienced Pipe Layer. Responsibilities: - Lay-out, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain piping systems

• Knowledge of piping systems, wastewater systems, storm drain, and other fixtures

• Knowledge of system operation and study of building plans or working drawings

• Selects type and size of pipe and related materials according to job specifications

• Knowledge of installation of slide rail shoring systems

• Spotting Excavator operator to find existing utility expirience

• Inspects worksite to determine presence of obstructions and ensure no safety issues exist that would cause structural weakness

• Plans sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other construction workers

• Cuts pipe, using hacksaw, pipe cutters, hammer and chisel, cutting torch, and pipe cutting machine

• Bends pipe by hand or with pipe-bending machine

• Secures pipe to proper grade for gravity flow installation

• Ensures pipe installation is correct and double check to prevent any leaks

• Other duties as assigned

• Help lead others on the ground for safe operations Requirements: - Workers must be able to coordinate the movements eyes, hands, and fingers; use hands, arms, and fingers fully

• Climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolding

• Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at heights as required

• Ability to push/pull/lift at least 20 pounds

• Must be at least 18 years of age
