We are looking for someone who can lay out, fabricates, assembles, installs and maintain piping, piping systems, and equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, and industrial processing systems. Selects type and size of pipe and related materials according to job specifications.

  • Performs a variety of duties which may often change

  • Selects type and size of pipe and related materials according to job specifications

  • Inspects worksites to determine presence of obstructions and to ascertain that holes will not cause structural weakness

  • Plans sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other construction workers

  • Cuts pipe using pipe cutters, port-a-band saw, hammer and chisel, cutting torch, and pipe cutting machine

  • Threads pipe, using threading machine

  • Assembles and installs variety of metal and nonmetal pipe and pipe fittings, including those made of brass, copper, glass and plastic

  • Joins piping by means of welded, grooved, threaded, soldered, brazed, fused, or cemented joints

  • Installs hanger systems as specified in construction documents

  • Installs refrigeration and air conditioning systems including compressors, pumps, meters, pneumatic and hydraulic controls, and piping

  • Tests piping systems for leaks by increasing pressure and pipes and observing gauges attached to pipes for indication of leaks

  • Loads and unloads construction materials from trucks and into building

  • Maintains good housekeeping and safe work area

  • Teach, coach and provide direction to apprentices and helpers to work safely, deliver quality, and work productivity

  • Works safely, encourages others to do so, and complies with applicable health and safety-related rules, regulations, and procedures

  • Performs and duties of a helper as described separately

We are looking for someone with

  • Minimum of three years industry experience

  • Completion of apprenticeship program and/or trade licensure preferred

  • Knowledge of International Mechanical Code (IMC) and OSHA safety regulations

  • Able to install work from drawings, submittals and specifications

  • Able to read and understand project related documents in the English language

  • Knowledge of basic construction/shop math (addition, subtraction, division, fraction, and multiplication)

  • Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy

  • Ability to make decisions based on information at hand

  • Work easily and skillfully with hands

  • Maintain a positive attitude and willing to work in a team environment

  • Ability to work without direct supervision

  • Ability to communicate effectively and deal diplomatically with coworkers other tradesmen

  • Must be able to pass a drug test, background check and have a clean driving record

The Consulting Solution Architect will create business and technical architectures leveraging repeatable techniques, standards and guidelines. The Architect will analyze enterprise business drivers to determine gaps in capabilities and technologies and develop strategies to mitigate those gaps. Through their use of expert knowledge of architectural frameworks, best practices, agile techniques and Lean thinking, the Architect will guide the evolution of the ESA portfolio by creating execution roadmaps and building blocks. The Architect will consult with product and system engineering teams to understand fit to architecture and help guide design architectures to accommodate project needs. The Architect will ensure designs align to strategic objectives, encourage simplification and maximize asset value of existing technologies and solutions. Working with and mentoring other architects, this position will specify and collaborate on reference architectures that can be implemented such that technical and business capabilities are incrementally added to the organization. As a lead technical resource, the Architect will work closely with delivery teams and members of the architecture team to elaborate solutions into fully realized business products. The Consulting Solution Architect will also foster research and look for disruptive technologies that can give our business a competitive advantage. The person who fills this role must also be able to coordinate with business stakeholders, development managers, business analysts, customer engagement leaders and product owners guiding them in the usage of delivered capabilities and services to ensure expected value is realized. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES * Manages and executes solution-focused proof of concept design for existing technologies * Guides solution architecture design to solve customers' most complex business and technical needs * Creates logical architectures and reviews and approves changes * Leads solution architecture development that addresses the customer's requirements and key challenges; aligns architecture to the customer's strategic plans and technology road maps * Directs solution architecture effort in terms of quality, timeliness and compliance with requirements and expectations * Evaluates emerging technologies that could have a positive impact on the organization * Directs solution recommendation for buy-vs.-build selection processes * Manages establishment of solution architectural standards for IT * Guides architects on the approved methodologies, processes and toolsets defined within the architecture and planning group * Identifies and organizes other pragmatic training as needed to ensure successful delivery of planned solutions * Influence the enterprise technology strategy and architecture through representation of delivery and business concerns * Mentors and trains solution architects GENERAL EXPERIENCE * Strong experience and demonstrated success in design and deployment of solutions required * Enterprise and solutions architecture design and implementation required * Communication and execution of IT strategies to senior IT and business stakeholders required * Capable Archimate or UML (Archimate preferred) modeler with expert experience in detailing and elaborating business domains and processing scenarios and functions required * Experience in establishing an architectural knowledge base using a metadata repository required * Value based decision making, System or Lean thinking required * Laser focus on timely and incremental delivery of business value required * Experience with 3 or more techniques and practices of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Service Oriented Architecture, Master Data Management, Product Development and Enterprise Application Integration patterns, techniques and tools required * Extensive and current experience in development with one or more object orientated technology stacks (e.g. C#/.NET or JEE) required * Expert knowledge of implementing architectural frameworks like TOGAF required * Extensive knowledge of design patterns required * Ability to drive documentation for scalable architecture required * Leading, developing and building teams required * Understanding and practice of Domain Driven Design preferred RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE * 10 years EDUCATION * Bachelor's Degree Required OTHER/SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS * Healthcare IT Experience, Group Purchasing and Supply Chain Experience Preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS * Must be able to travel up to 5% of the time HealthTrust is a Spend Management Company responsible for supporting over 1,600 For-Profit and Not-For-Profit acute care facilities (44 Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) and Healthcare Delivery Organizations (HDO)) in the United States and United Kingdom.
