Pipe Shop Fabricator/Welder

Duties:

• Fabricate and weld metal components according to blueprints and specifications

• Operate various tools and equipment such as plasma cutters, iron worker, and hand tools

• Assemble fabricated parts using various techniques.

• Read and interpret schematics and diagrams

• Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• Previous experience in fabrication and welding

• Proficient in the use of hand tools

• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

• Knowledge of different welding techniques including stick welding

• Familiarity with operating overhead cranes or other lifting equipment is a plus
