Fabricate, assemble, install, and hydro test process piping systems for Ozone Replacement System at a Waste Water Treatment Facility. The employee is expected to climb and work in high places that may exceed 200 feet in height and also work in confined spaces. The employee must work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload.

REQUIREMENTS:

A high school diploma, or general education development (GED) diploma and 3 5 years fitter work related experience and/or training is required. Persons holding this position must submit and pass a blue print reading test. Persons holding this position must have the ability to perform advanced pipe fitting functions and processes such as reading blue prints and drawings, perform layouts, build piping systems to specified tolerances, and use industry machines, tools, and equipment.

The welding processes used are GTAW and SMAW on pipe. The employee is expected to climb and work in high places that may exceed 200 feet in height and also work in confined spaces. The employee must work overtime, nights and weekends as required by the workload. REQUIREMENTS: The person hold this position must have a high school diploma or GED, must preheat and weld metal components as specified by blue prints, welding symbols, job specifications, or welding procedures, must demonstrate proficiency in welding processes, must have 3 – 5 years welding experience, and must pass a practical weld test.
