This position will support our newly launched Farm Foundations training, which educates new and beginning farmers on organic production techniques, with an opportunity to practice and develop skills on our community farm. The position also supports Community Work Days, where we invite the community to come to the farm for both education and food access throughout the growing season.
The Farm Foundations member would support the efforts to recruit and train the next generation of farmers, as well as recruit and educate community members to help manage our community farm. This position will be jointly funded with the Franklin Pierce School District, our partner who shares management of the farm. The member would gain skills with outreach, engagement and education on topics of sustainable agriculture.
This position is contingent on funding. Applications will be reviewed in the order in which they are received with interviews taking place until placement is filled.
