The Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism is currently recruiting for part time recreation sports instructor to lead the sport of Pickleball for adults. Successful candidates will be enthusiastic and will have experience participating in and/or coaching a variety of sports.
Candidate will be comfortable teaching the beginner to intermediate player and will focus on the proper technique of hitting, court positioning, strategy on the rules and etiquette of the game. Candidates interested in these opportunities must possess excellent leadership, organizational and customer service skills.
Applicants must have a current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
Employees over the age of 18 are required to complete a criminal record check.
Salary: 13.42 20.80/hr

Beginner: Lacrosse Camp/Classes, Field Hockey, Fast Pitch Softball, Parent/Tot Sports, Tiny Tots Basketball, Pre-school/beginner sports classes, Pee Wee Hoops, Lil Shots, Tiny Tots, Soccer Smarts I, T-ball camp, Kick & Swim.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Requires knowledge and experience of specified activity.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Less than one year instructional experience in related program area required.
Requires CPR and/or first aid;
Work involves some discomforts or unpleasantness or involves some risk which requires safety precautions;
Requires some physical effort.
