General Description:

As aPick-Up and Delivery Driveryou will be responsible to pick up and deliver Goodyear Commercial Tire and Service Center products in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • All aspects of pickup and delivery of new and retreaded commercial tires, casings and other types of tire pickup and delivery between Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers locations,customersand Goodyear dealers.

  • Maintaincustomerrelationships including building and maintainingcustomersatisfaction.

  • Assist with loading and unloading commercial tires, casings, wheels, mounted wheel assemblies and related products while following all safety rules and procedures.

  • Responsible for documentation completion with delivery.

  • Provide"Service Excellence

  • Always" to meet the service goals of the location and ofcustomers.
  • Keep all documents and maintenance records up to date on equipment assigned,e.g.,DOTLog.

  • Perform anyadditionalduties asassignedby management.

  • Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including commercial tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting

Basic Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle required for the position and be able to meet commercial driver qualification requirements.

  • Must beat least 21 years of age.

  • No relocation is being offered for this position

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous delivery driving experience


  • Strongoral and written communication ability.

  • Commitmentto follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.

  • Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.

  • Must be a self-starter and willing to take initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision, and be willing to attend appropriate training sessions.

Individual will supervise the work force providing work assignments for daily activities and tracking service center metrics. Other responsibilities include compliance related activities such as self-inspections, infection control, and QC/PMI to conform to, support, and enforce all company policies and procedures. Supervises distributed site operations.</p><p>Functions, Key Duties and Responsibilities:</p><p>Responsible for the organization, monitoring, scheduling and completion of the clean/QC, delivery, set-up, pick up and servicing of rental products based on set goals. Facilitate all delivery activities through a team-based approach.</p><p>Ensure the assigned team performs critical care medical equipment placements, may include conducting technical in-service to medical staff on product function and use. May assist in patient transfers.</p><p>Manage patient and hospital experience with company products/devices through regular and routine rounding activities including appropriate documentation of actions.</p><p>Either on an individual basis or through the assigned team troubleshoot equipment and make minor repairs using hand tools. Assist with or facilitate preventative maintenance where appropriate. Ensure equipment in repair is within the allowable limits set for the service center.</p><p>Leads internal and external audits of the service center and executes corrective actions on any identified audit deficiencies. Achieves 100% compliance to audit requirements. Corrective actions should be completed within 30 days of any audit findings</p><p>Responsible for inventory of products and parts for the service center. Responsible for monthly asset inventories within the service center.</p><p>Ensure compliance with company fleet policy and associated safety program. Ensure compliance with Corporate, State or Federal requirements for vehicles and service centers.</p><p>Drive a company fleet vehicle (box truck or van) to conduct field activities as needed.</p><p>Follow all Standard Operating Procedures</p><p>Participate in any and all reasonable work activities as assigned by management including but not limited to participation in Arjo special initiatives and programs such as Demo and ReNu pick up / drop off activities</p><p>Provides in-service training/retraining as needed on products and new processes. Supports the completion of all trainings, to include timely submission of training records</p><p>Assist in completing employee annual competency evaluations. Provides input on employee performance to the TSM and assists with HR matters as needed and requested under the guidance of the TSM.</p><p>Assist the TSM in determining assigned service center team schedule to ensure 24/7 coverage for the service territory. Provide coverage for service technicians (vacation, LOAs, etc.) as needed.</p><p>Provide coverage for Territory Service Manager as needed. Participate in on-call and holiday work requirements as needed</p><p>Demonstrate Arjo core values in daily activities.</p><p>Support and facilitate training, scheduling, parts distribution and completion of all field-based product improvements to include but not limited to: TAN's, Field Corrections, Product Upgrades, etc.</p><p>Assist and / or facilitate technical support via phone to field service employees. Assist field service employees with difficult repairs onsite at customer's location and/or service centers.</p><p>Assist in preparation and distribution of required reports to assigned team.</p><p>Support the delivery of preventative maintenance and repair services at customer establishments in accordance with established procedures and techniques, using proper tools, test equipment and replacement parts.</p><p>Assist in the installation process at customer locations.</p><p>Establish and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with internal and external customers.</p><p>Work with other internal departments to establish and grow the core business.</p><p>Assist region to achieve revenue goals as it relates to the sale of company products and services.</p><p>Demonstrate effective use of products and technical data provided by the company.</p><p>Assess, provide cost estimates for, and complete repairs for customer-owned medical equipment or customer damaged rental assets.</p><p>Other duties as assigned</p><p>Knowledge/Skills/Experience:</p><p>Each organization shall have sufficient personnel with the necessary education, background, training, and experience to assure that all activities required by this part are correctly performed and shall establish procedures for identifying training needs and ensure that all personnel are trained to adequately perform their assigned responsibilities. Training shall be documented.</p><p>Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint</p><p>Demonstrated ability to supervise employees, manage change and multiple priorities.</p><p>Demonstrated customer service skills.</p><p>Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all business dealings.</p><p>Demonstrated ability to deal with employees and business contacts and convey a positive service oriented attitude.</p><p>Ability to travel by commercial air service to attend scheduled business and corporate function.</p><p>Ability to meet all performance aspects of the job including but not limited to: meeting all performance and safety standards.</p><p>Demonstrated communication and proper business etiquette skills.</p><p>Must be able to decipher data from computer-generated reports, software programs, technical manuals and written correspondence.</p><p>Personal Qualities:</p><p>Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related degree and at least two years of service supervisory experience, or 5+ years of related strong supervisory experience accepted in lieu of degree.</p><p>Must be able to complete and pass a DOT physical and ensure ongoing compliance to all DOT requirements while actively employed in this position.</p><p>Must travel as required to customer sites (overnight travel amount will vary depending on the territories to be covered); must reside within the assigned territory; must be able to operate an automobile (valid driver's licensed required).</p><p>Must have a current state driver's license in the state in which the applicant resides.</p><p>Permissions:</p><p>Each organization shall establish the appropriate authority, and interrelation of all personnel who manage, perform, and assess work affecting quality, and provide the independence and authority necessary to perform these tasks.</p><p>Supervision/Management of Others:</p><p>Responsible for the development and management of personnel and programs in assigned service center locations.</p><p>Internal and External Contacts:</p><ul><li><p>Regularly works with service center staff including other Process Technicians, Service Consultants, Service Team Leads and Supervisors.</p></li><li><p>Interacts with Territory Service Manager, Regional Service Director and sales team regularly.</p></li><li><p>Work with the quality and field service departments as needed.</p></li><li><p>Builds close working relationships with Arjo's external customers.</p></li><li><p>Manage relationships with outside vendors and suppliers.</p></li></ul><p>Special Features/Conditions:</p><ul><li><p>Ensures environmental consciousness and safe practices are exhibited in decisions.</p></li><li><p>Travel requirement of approximately 25%, which may include international travel.</p></li><li><p>Ability to travel by car or public transportation as needed to meet business needs.</p></li><li><p>May work extended hours during peak business cycles.</p></li><li><p>The individual must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
