Ultium Cells Overview:

Ultium Cells is a joint venture Lithium-Ion Automotive Battery Cell Manufacturing plant between LG Chem and General Motors. This new construction high-technology plant will have the latest Battery Cell manufacturing technology. The investment in this new business venture represents a commitment of more than $2.3 Billion. It will be among the largest Battery Cell Manufacturing plants in the world. Ultium Cells will produce Battery Cells for General Motors North American electric vehicle applications.

The Ultium cell partners include LG Chem; the world's largest manufacturer of Automotive Battery Cells in the world and General Motors a global company committed to delivering safer, better and more sustainable ways for people to get around.

Job Responsibilities:

1.Production/Logistics/Process/Analysis/Quality System Management

• IT System Process Innovation Leading and management

• MES/MCS operation and management

• Understanding system connection structure and managing information linkage

• Leading related department communication and IT issue management

2.ERP System Management

• Inventory management of production process

• Production inventory closing management

• Material warehousing/product release management

3.IT Planning Management

• IT Investment & Operational Budget Management
• IT Investment Plan Establishment/Execution/Progress Management
• IT Investment Plan Submit/Review Management
• IT Contract/Agreement/Payment Management

4.Communication Channel Control with Parent headquarters

• IT Issue Management

• Weekly/Monthly Report (Issue/Achievement/Progress)

• IT Committee Coordination

5.IT Asset Management

• IT Hardware, Software Asset Registration / Disposal Control

• Regular Asset Inventory/In-use Count

6.Common IT Related Work

• Office & Factory IT Accessary Purchasing Support

• Others as directed

Qualifications and Competencies:

1.Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Engineering

2.+ 8 Year experience in information technology as well as experiences detailed below:

• SAP ERP Base SCM/Manufacturing/Purchasing/Logistic related IT operation experience

• Manufacturing Execution System Admin Experience (Assembly/Auto/Display/etc.)

• IT Planning & Operation Management experience

• Self-Directed and ability to work in a diverse workforce

• Ability to solve problems by proactively collaborating with cross-functional teams on issues

• The willingness and ability to work flexible hours occasionally to support team

• Participate in remote meetings with LG Energy Solution Teams as needed

• Effective communication and presentation skills

• MS Office tool-based report writing and oral communication skills

3.Bilingual skills, writing and speaking, in English and Korean preferred
