What You Will Do

As an Associate with Seton Family of Hospitals-TX, you will have the opportunity to

Provides medical services to patients in an assigned area.


  • Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinates discharge planning with case management.

  • Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.

  • Accepts patient referrals from other physicians. Acts as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, depending on needs of patients, medical staff and hospital.

  • Participates in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.

  • Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.

  • Participates in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.

What You Will Need


  • Required Credential(s):
  • Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board .


  • Diploma

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Optometry (OD) or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) required

Position: Care Center Manager for Gynecology and Aesthetics clinic Report To: Lead Physician/COO Purpose: Responsible for the daily operations of small Gynecology and Aesthetics practice of all functions and serves as the liaison between the departments and organization. The Care Center Manager integrates the department's services with the care center’s primary functions, develops/implements policies and procedures that guide or support service, assesses and improves department performance, and serves as a key promoter of the care center, which strives to meet and exceed the needs of its patients. Responsibilities: Oversees department functions and may perform departmental duties when needed. Supervises and maintains the productivity of staff. Follows up with patient / customer complaints promptly and handles patient questions. Takes appropriate action for medical and non-medical emergencies occurring within the office. Works closely with other managers and physicians to ensure the efficiency of the site. Develops and implements processes and training sessions, leads and motivates staff, ensures thorough/effective dissemination of information, and maintains open lines of communication with employees. Serves as a subject matter expert to the departments and performs clinical duties as needed. Tracks and corrects time for employees (monitoring time clock usage). Applies PTO for all employees based on their requests. Facilitates the coordination of pre-process payroll activities such as correcting time cards for missed punches, applying requested PTO and adhering to overtime policies. Navigating practice EMR system and updating schedule template as needed. Ensures compliance with all applicable industry, federal and organizational guidelines, protocols, policies, and procedures. Books, coordinates and reschedules patients’ appointments/lab work. Verifies insurance benefits and/or referral and obtain pre-certification/authorization for surgery as appropriate. Performs accounting transactions such as accounts payable and bookkeeping for Aesthetics part of practice Performs other duties as assigned. Skills, Education, & Experience: High School diploma or GED is required, prefer college degree. Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in the medical field with supervisory or management experience. Excellent communication skills (written and verbally). Demonstrate proficiency in personal computer office applications, such as word processing, databases, and scheduling software. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent customer/patient service. High level of knowledge of practice management system. Possesses a high degree of personal integrity and professionalism. Athena EMR experience preferred. Physical/Mental Abilities: Ability to multi-task. Ability to handle high stress situations and adapt to changing circumstances. Ability to lead and motivate a team as well as train and oversee other staff members. Ability to employ critical thinking skills to solve issues. Ability to make sound judgments in a busy and distracting environment.
