Physician Support Subject Matter Expert

Key Role:

Apply expertise in Electronic Health Records (EHR) to acting as a liaison between clinicians in the field and project team. Support patient safety, training, communication, and meetings. Consult as a liaison between clinicians in the field and project teams. Consult on patient safety, including tasks such as identifying patient safety issues when they occur and alerting the appropriate stakeholders regarding the issue and severity.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands on experience in working with DoD systems, including the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA), Composite Healthcare System (CHCS), Clinical Information Systems (CIS), and Health Artifact and Image Management Solution (HAIMS)

  • Ability to assist training teams with assessing training needs, including a training approach and training plan and the design and development of training materials and methods

  • Ability to organize and provide product demonstrations and prepare and deliver presentations at conferences, meetings, and other professional events

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • BA or BS degree

VIEW JOBS 4/19/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-18T00:00 Job Description GDIT has openings for Systems Analysts for the support and maintenance of the Joint Theatre Medical Information Program (TMIP-J) and the JOMIS (JATS & DHRES) Program Office. Candidates will serve as key operational medicine resource for implementation and support of a broad set of clinical applications. Primary responsibilities include the leadership and facilitation of service specific core clinical systems such as AHLTA-T and TC2 as well programs and applications like MMM, MEDPROs, NMO, MC4 and Mirth. Secondary support is focused on broad operational medicine subject matter expertise to resolve incidents or fulfill requests received from Service Desk Military Health functional working groups. Duties and Responsibilities: * Serves as project leader for Service specific (Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps, Army) implementations of clinical and support applications software releases and new products * Works with enterprise subject matter experts and Service experts and help desk in managing resolution of application incidents and requests * Coordinates reporting requests and assists with defining report requirements and validating reporting results. May involve the development of clinical application reports as required * Performs quality audits and tracks metrics related to clinical application use * Participates in meetings as a member of facility clinical leadership * Promotes system security and patient confidentiality and helps ensure compliance Education Masters Degree in a related discipline.
