Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Physician Recruiter is responsible coordinating Mercy Clinic Central Community physician recruitment activities and all physician recruitment activities for the active recruitment of physicians in all medical specialties for Joplin/Kansas, MO Division. Ability to source and develop relationships with candidates and follow them thru the entire recruitment process, including documenting details in reports and ATS system. Performs related duties as assigned. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.


Because you're committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That's why you'll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:

  • BS degree or equivalent experience

  • 2-3 years of Physician Recruiting experience or Practice Management background is preferred.

  • Must have experience using personal computer and word processing software.

  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).

  • Strong interpersonal skills with orientation to customer service and marketing.

  • Analyzes data/problems/issues and recommends improvements based on data results/ best practices

  • Follow up skills essential

  • Must be able to live in or near Joplin, MO to be a part of the community
