As a Physician Recruiter you will manage physician recruitment and placement activities of the organization on a regional basis. You will work in an at home and in office environment with regular travel to the facilities that you will support. Qualified candidates will need to reside or be willing to relocate to the El Paso, TX market.
You will be performing the following duties:
Maintaining relationship with Division VPs of Recruitment as well as Division recruiters.
Develop and implement programs, plans, policies, and procedures for recruitment, screening, selection, and placement of physicians.
Serve as communication liaison with market leadership, HCAPS management, candidates and physicians.
Plan and direct activities of staff in carrying out such functions as developing sources of qualified applicants, screening applicants, checking references and background, and evaluating applicant qualifications.
Conduct phone interviews with candidates for open positions.
Develop and maintain contacts with educational institutions, employment agencies, placement firms, residency and fellowship programs and other sources of applicants.
Represent the company at association meeting and physician training programs.
Determine Internet online recruiting strategies for attracting and recruiting candidates.
Serve as a resource for on-campus and off-site recruitment programs including job fairs, trade shows, and media presence.
Manage physician candidate tracking systems. Provides recommendation for operational changes and ensures implementation and adherence.
Maintain data on recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews, and recruitment results to maintain accurate and comprehensive files such as candidate records, internal and external reports and correspondence.
Prepare and analyze statistical reports and other data to monitor candidate referrals to Divisions as well as further actions on candidate referrals.
Bachelor's degree is required.
Significant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
4 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of experience is required.
Physician recruitment experience is highly preferred.
Work from home and in office environment.
Typical work hours can vary depending on workload and hiring deliverables.
Some travel may be required.
