We are actively seeking a Family Medicine Physician on a PRN ("as needed") basis for our clinic located in Albuquerque, NM. Will care for a pediatric and adult patient population in a value-based care model; 30 min appointment times, shifts would be between the hours of 8:00am
5:00pm, Monday

Requirements:
Graduate of accredited US School of Medicine; MD or DO
BC / BE (Family Medicine)
Current unrestricted New Mexico license
Current DEA Certificate
BLS
Essential Job Functions:
Provides medical patient care by interviewing, examining, and treating clinical patients in order to meet their needs
Educates patients on wellness, prevention, and early detection by providing materials and resources to the patients
Determines which referrals are required based on examination and patient needs
Determines level of urgency of follow-up, referral/consultation appointments
Exercises final medical judgment in all issues of health care
Prescribes medical treatment and clinical drugs to patients
Orders studies, test, and ancillary services
Documents all services in patient electronic medical record
Reviews on a regular basis long term cases that require ongoing medical attention
Consults with Physician Lead, Director of Medicine, and other professionals on staff as needed regarding patient care, assessment, and educational issues
Participates in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and other patient care programs established by Medi.ci On-Site
Assists as needed in the resolution of complaints, requests, and inquiries from patients
Assists in the development, production, and presentation of medical education, material, lectures, and mixed media presentations for patient and medical staff
Maintains confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations
May be assigned to multiple clinic sites as mutually agreed upon with CMO and Director of Medicine
May require on-call responsibilities
Education: Medical degree in medicine from accredited school (MD or DO)
Experience: Minimum of two years of direct work experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Required Skills:
Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques
Thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment
Effective verbal and written communication skills along with proper telephone etiquette
Performs in a tactful and professional manner
Experience with Electronic Medical Records
Physical Requirements:
