VIEW JOBS 11/3/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-01T00:00 * Bachelors Degree Required * Licensed/Certified to practice * Three to five years experience required * JOB SUMMARY The Physician Application Support/Trainer, working as a member of the Information Systems (IS) team is primarily responsible for conducting training and end user support for all local facility physicians and mid-levels. The training will be primarily based at Covenant facilities, and will be conducted in the classroom as well as in the areas of practice. The Physician Application Support/Trainer will be assigned to specific application(s) included in the application suite and will be held accountable for achieving an in-depth understanding of the software, policies and procedures, and all related workflows. The Physician Application Support/Trainer is a member of the CareLink Project Team and actively participates in discussions regarding building, testing, and maintaining the training environment, as well as the development and maintenance of training materials for the training program. The Physician Application Support/Trainer will support the Enterprise Project Team in technological competency assessments across Covenant. In addition to training end-users within the facility, at the direction of Training Leadership, the Physician Application Support/Trainer will also train additional trainers within the organization, maintain policy/procedure documentation, provide training for new hires, and conduct training for new software releases and updates. The Physician Application Support/Trainer will assist with alignment of all application training activities with cultural and clinical transformation objectives. The incumbent will identify and help manage resistance to change as related to their respective application(s) of responsibility. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: * Bachelor's degree from an accredited university * Valid State of New Hampshire Registered Nurse license Experience Required: * Experience developing and conducting training in adult education environment * Experience with implementing clinical information systems and/or large-scale and complex standardization and implementation of an electronic health record is highly desirable * Stand-up ADULT classroom training * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, email, intranet, internet, and other systems * Experience in Epic installations Other Skills Preferred: * Flexible, highly collaborative and consistently able to work to fill gaps and avoid overlaps in local system activities * Demonstrated leadership abilities * Ability to listen, react and suggest ways to complement or assist the work of others * Act as an expert resource and thought partner to ensure work is fluid and relevant * Strong presentation skills required * Flexibility for occasional night and weekend shifts We are an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, disability status, gender, sexual orientation, ancestry, protected veteran status, national origin, genetic information or any legally protected status.
