Physician - Pediatrics

Details Specialty: Pediatrics Schedule: 1.0 FTE (Full-Time). 36 patient care hours per week with 4 hours of admin time.

Call Schedule: Phone calls overnight 2 times per month. Weekend Call 1:12.

Responsibilities Responsibilities: Evaluates and treats pediatric patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Full participation in pediatric medical home with supportive Medical Assistants and Registered Nurses assisting in the care of your patients.

Onsite lab and xray to meet the care needs of your patient. Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients. Accepts patient referrals from other physicians.

Children needing hospitalization cared for by pediatric hospitalist or neonatologist. No inpatient hospital duties. Participates in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.

Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner. Participates in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules. About Ascension NE Wisconsin
