Physician-Pediatric Gastroenterologist

Summary MaineHealth Pediatric Specialty Care is seeking a full-time Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join their well-established Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology in Portland, Maine. This position offers:

Outstanding clinical care in the full complement of gastrointestinal disorders. Robust support staff including a nurse practitioner, registered dietician, a social worker, and four gastroenterology nurses, all of whom work closely with our physicians. Other affiliated programs in our system including the pediatric Weight and Wellness clinic, Muscular Dystrophy program, the Gender Clinic, and the Maine Children's Cancer Program.

Participation in the Tufts University School of Medicine and the Pediatric Residency program both in the clinical and research arenas. Academic appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine. Membership in the medical staff of The Barbara Bush Children's Hospital, a 116-bed tertiary care pediatric hospital within MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Portland, and Maine's only dedicated children's hospital, providing comprehensive services including a PICU, NICU, dedicated pediatric section in the ED, and a 35-bed Inpatient Unit.

Qualifications: MD/DO from an accredited medical school. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology Appropriate for recent fellowship graduates looking for ongoing mentorship as they develop their careers as well as more experienced physicians seeking a blend of clinical, academic and administrative roles.
