Reporting to the Chairperson of the Department of Radiology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine, the Physician (Part-Time On-Call) will provide clinical services for Temple University's Radiology Department. The clinical services include, but are not limited to, reading CT, plain film, ultrasound and emergency MRIs at Temple University Hospital, Jeanes Hospital, Episcopal Hospital, and/or Readycare sites for the Department of Radiology. All clinical responsibilities and schedules will be determined by the Department Chair, and will involve working weekend evenings and holidays. Additional responsibilities include providing patient reports as needed which are consistent with applicable University and Hospital policies, procedures, and guidelines; and completing documentation, including professional fee billing, in an accurate and timely manner. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
Doctor of Medicine or MD/PhD along with successful completion or scheduled completion of an ACGME-accredited residency training program in Diagnostic Radiology. Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Radiology.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Ability to obtain a medical license for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Eligibility to participate in 3rd party insurance programs as required by Temple University.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated sensitivity to the culture, needs, and aspirations of the community.
