• Grinnell provides coordinated clinic, hospital and home-based care for patients in east central Iowa. A private, nonprofit, non-tax supported medical center, UnityPoint Health

• Grinnell Regional Medical Center is the largest hospital in Iowa between Des Moines and Iowa City and serves more than 47,000 residents in 6 counties with a robust Emergency Department with EM trained physicians.

Responsibilities

• Joining a practice with 2 physicians and 3 PA's

• Local medical staff of 50+ primary care and specialty providers in an established growing practice

• Newborn nursery and back up ER call

• Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients extremely well

• Work/Life balance is critical for our organization.

• No limitation on clinic based procedures

• Radiology and Laboratory services available on same campus as clinic

Qualifications

• MD or DO

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine

• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa

• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician's field of practice

• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)

• J-1 waiver sponsorship available

GRMC has a comprehensive medical staff. Located in a community of 9,000, GRMC locally provides 24/7 hospitalist coverage, 24/7 surgical call coverage, OB/GYN, Urology, ENT, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Oncology, and Pain Management in addition to hosting many visiting specialties.
