Adelphi is seeking a physician (internist) to provide care to patients at a facility in Farmington, Utah. Asap Requirements: MD/DO Active UT license BC/BE (Board certification within 2 years of employment) DEA License Be able to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs or any similar government-funded health care program Responsibilities: Performs history and physical examinations as indicated.

Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess the patient's clinical problems and health care needs. Initiates and/or recommends medical drug therapies or other forms of related therapeutic treatment and procedures in accordance with approved protocols/policy. Complies with medical records policies regarding the complete and accurate documentation of patient care.

Participates in quality improvement activities. Counsels patients, families and significant others about health and illness, and promotes health maintenance. Evaluates, plans, implements, and re-evaluates the care of individuals requiring emergency measures.

Supervise mid-level health care providers as assigned. Perform and/or participate in any administrative duties which may be ancillary to the providing of clinical care, as necessary to perform professional functions. Comply with all applicable laws and canons of professional ethics.
