Kindred Hospital Rehabilitation Services is dedicated to Hope, Healing, and Recovery for our patients. We are in partnership with Atlantic Rehabilitation Institute and are currently seeking a physician to serve in a medical staff role at Atlantic Rehabilitation Institute. This is a 38 bed rehabilitation hospital that serves patients in need of rehabilitation services, including physical, occupational, and speech-language therapies.

This position is an Independent Contractor role and will collaborate with the Medical Director, Program Director (or CEO) and the entire clinical team to provide medical direction in conformance with the facility's policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and The Joint Commission.

As a physician you will have:

  • Doctor of medicine or osteopathy, duly licensed and registered to practice medicine or surgery, and is in good standing under the laws of the state.

  • Certified and maintains all board certifications in his or her specialty areas by a nationally recognized board.

  • Demonstrates appropriate experience or training to provide rehabilitation services through one of the following:

  • A formal residency in PMR

  • A fellowship in rehabilitation for a minimum of one year

  • Has completed a one year hospital internship with a minimum of two years' of training or experience as a collaborative team member in the medical management of inpatients requiring rehabilitation services

Thisbrand new, 38-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital will be opening in theSummer of 2019 and we are seeking an energetic, creative and experiencedExecutive Administrative Assistant to join our team now and help us meet thegrowing demand for intensive rehabilitation services. Job Summary: This position provides administrativesupport to the CEO and leadership team of the hospital. In addition to typing,filing, scheduling, performs duties such as financial record keeping,coordination of meetings and conferences, obtaining supplies, coordinatingdirect mailings, working on special projects. Also, answers non-routinecorrespondence and may assembles highly confidential and sensitive information.Deals with a diverse group of important external callers and visitors, as wellas internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgment isrequired to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload, recommendschanges in office practices or procedures. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Greetsvisitors, directs visitors appropriately; maintains the communication flow ofthe office. Preparesreports, memos, correspondence, meeting minutes, special projects, etc., forthe executive team. Includes MEC and Board of Manager packets. Reviewsand edits all written materials. Maintainsthe CEO's calendar and provides clerical support to executive team as required. Answersthe telephone in a professional manner; screens calls, takes messages, directscalls appropriately.
