You will provide direct primary care to patients in the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care of outpatients for adult and pediatric care, obstetric and gynecologic care, dermatological, neurological, orthopedic, surgical, otorhinolaryngology, surgical, psychological and psychiatric, and urologic problems.

Documenting patient history using electronic medical records;
Performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic studies, prescribing medications and performing patient education;
Promoting preventative and health maintenance care including annual physicals and positive health care behaviors through education and counseling;
Providing clinical practice oversight by reviewing medical care and clinically related processes and policies;
Exercise leadership, administrative, and managerial guidance to military, civilian and contract personnel within the family medicine department;
Teach Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students and serve as a preceptor to Residents, Interns, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and other medical personnel.

Completion of a residency program in the specialty approved by the American specialty board or AOA, board certification, or board eligible.
Current clinical competence (e.g., privileged to independently practice as a Family Medicine Physician within the past 2 years, actively practiced within the past 2 years by having encountered a sufficient number of clinical cases to represent a broad spectrum of the privileges required).
No health status contraindications to granting clinical privileges.
Board certification is desired but not required.
