Job Description
Mountain View Regional Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified Physician in one of the following specialties - Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, General Surgeon, OR Pediatrics to serve as our Transitional Year Program Director.
You will be responsible for the leadership, organization, operation, and general administration of the Transitional Year Residency Program
Maintain current knowledge of and compliance with ACGME Institutional and Program Requirements
Coordinate all schedules including lecture and educational sessions, clinic and consult services, and a location of appropriate time for resident participation
At least three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience in a residency program
Dedicate a minimum of ten (10) hours per week (or five hundred and twenty (520) hours per year) to fulfilling all job duties and responsibilities as defined by the ACGME
Must be a board-certified physician in the United States

The facility includes fully staffed 24-hour emergency care, a specialized Heart Center, Women's Center, Comprehensive Intensive Care Services and an All-Digital Imaging Department, plus Inpatient and Outpatient Surgical Services, Emergency Services, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Wound Care Center/Hyperbaric, Diagnostic and Imaging Services, Pain Management Center and an ADA Certified Diabetes Program.
