Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, a new, state-of-the-art 412-bed (all private) facility is currently seeking several BC/BE Family/Internal Medicine physicians to staff their rural health clinics

  • Employed positions in rural health clinics

  • Outpatient only practice

  • Rehab Coverage

  • Medicare/Medicaid Reimbursements are higher for designated RHCs

  • Join an additional 20+ primary care providers in our employed physician network with good specialty access (over 11 specialists in hospital owned MSG)

Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, a 250-bed state-of-the-art hospital having opened in January, 2013, will transform the delivery of hospital care in our community. Learn more about this agency Responsibilities The Psychiatrist position will be assigned to interested facilities throughout VHA and may be permanently or temporarily (not to exceed 1-year) appointed on an intermittent, part-time, or full-time schedule in support of the VA facilities across the Nation. Duties include but may not be limited to: * Primary provider of psychiatric care for designated patients; * Provide psychiatric examination and treatment and coordination of medical care with patient's Primary Care Provider; * Responsible for emergent and/or triage functions for walk-in patients; * Coordinating consultations and referrals of patients to other medical and/or Mental Health services; * Coordinating preventive health care needs according to established guidelines and sound psychiatric practice; and * Reviewing of patient care and treatment decisions. Work Schedule: : A variety of work schedules are available; Work schedule will be determined upon selection. NOTE: May be expected to work rotating weekends and holidays. Pay Schedule: The salary range listed in this announcement is a Base-Line Salary for a full-time work schedule. Starting salary will be set based on locality (which may include a special pay rate depending upon location), as well as FT, PT or Intermittent employment. Permanent Change of Station (PCS) expenses: Not Available Financial Disclosure Report: Not Required Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases.
