Job Summary
This active hospital employed practice, seeks a Fellowship Trained Breast Surgeon BE/BC physician to add to their Southeast Michigan based multidisciplinary practice location aligned with the Dearborn campus. You will be an employed physician, with knowledgeable practice management professionals assisting in day-to-day operations and take advantage the resources and referral base of the larger Beaumont Health system! the practice has a longstanding history of excellence in the community.
The Breast Care Center maintains top-ranking in patient satisfaction scores and features digital mammography, tomosynthesis, 3-D imaging, stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies, breast ultrasound, bone density and a breast care nurse navigator to help patients feel. The Dearborn Breast Care Center is designated as a Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology. The breast team has breast dedicated medical oncologists, advanced practice providers, nurse navigators, breast radiologists, genetic counselors, nutritionists, research nurse and financial navigators.

The physician is responsible for the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of the health problems presented by the patients.
Essential Functions
Demonstrate a commitment to service and distinctive, personalized care with both internal customers (coworkers, fellow employees, hospital staff, etc.) and external customers (patients, family members, referring physicians/specialists, etc.), while striving to exceed customer expectations.
Timely completion of all specific competencies and annual organizational mandatories.
Provide quality medical services to patients in a cost effective, appropriate manner and ensure coverage of case load at all times.
Document medical services in the patient's medical record in a manner consistent with hospital, payor, and regulatory standards.
Participate in value-based reimbursement programs and quality initiatives, as required by the Department.
Assist, as requested, in the development of policies and procedures as they related to medical practice and quality patient care.
Support patient participation in clinical trials and research projects, assess clinical safety and efficacy data, consistent with Research Institute policies.
