Roxbury is currently recruiting per diem Physician Assistants to work at our Behavioral Healthcare facility located in Shippensburg, PA. Our Physician Assistants are part of our medical staff department which includes psychiatrists, CRNPs, and PAs.
Providing medical care to our patients on both the Substance Use Disorder unit as well as the Acute Psychiatric Units, the Physician Assistant will provide medical services under the direction of the supervising physician. The Physician Assistant conducts patient medical screenings to determine the need for medical attention, reviews patient medical records to determine health status, obtains patient medical history, and performs a history and physical examinations.
Roxbury is a 112-bed behavioral healthcare facility located in Shippensburg, PA. Our 52-bed acute adult and adolescent psychiatric units treating individuals with mental illnesses who need short-term hospitalization. In our 60-bed chemical dependency unit, detoxification is conducted under close medical supervision for adults dealing with substance abuse issues.

ertified PA in the State of Pennsylvania with 1-year relevant clinical experience in a medical setting. Previous experience with behavioral health patients highly preferred.
