Vascular Physician Assistant Job Description:

The Vascular Physician Assistant will play a pivotal role in our healthcare team, dividing time among various settings including the operating room (OR), office, and hospital floors. Key responsibilities include:

1.Operating Room (OR):

• Assisting in complex vascular surgeries and procedures performed in the OR.

2.Office:

• Conducting patient visits and assessments.

• Performing office-based vein procedures.

• Fielding patient phone calls and addressing inquiries.

• Placing orders and writing prescriptions as necessary.

• Providing simple follow-up care and instructions to patients.

3.Hospital Floors:

• Facilitating pre-operative clearances, orders, and necessary testing.

• Conducting initial assessments, orders, and triaging consultations from the floor to the emergency room (ER).

4.Documentation:

• Writing comprehensive progress notes in the office on behalf of the physician, ensuring accurate and thorough record-keeping.

The successful candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care and collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Salary Range

USD $66.55 - USD $89.00 /Hr.
