Job Description

The Hawai'i Pacific Health Medical Group is comprised of over 700 employed physicians and advanced practice providers. Together with our four medical centers (Kapi'olani, Pali Momi, Straub, and Wilcox) and more than 50 convenient clinic locations statewide, our nonprofit health system is one of the state's largest health care providers. Our network of physicians and specialists work together to provide a distinctive and effective model of coordinated care for maintaining the health and wellness of our patients.

The Orthopedics Department is trained to handle the most common of injuries, from sprains, broken bones and sports injuries, to specialized conditions such as arthritis and congenital disorders. Our multi-disciplinary team includes fellowship-trained orthopedic physicians, rheumatologists, physical therapists, nurses and other health care providers that specialize in treating a wide range of injuries in children and adults.

As the Physician Assistant, you will gain invaluable experience and insight as part of our professional physician team while performing a variety of patient care activities related to the diagnosis and treatment of ill and injured patients in our Orthopedics Department. We are looking for someone motivated and driven, with outstanding patient care and communication skills, ability to work effectively under minimal supervision and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai'i's people.

Exempt: Yes

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai'i Physician Assistant license.

Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. One (1) year experience in area of specialty or successful completion of a specialty specific training program.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in area of specialty.
