Vincent hospital and outpatient clinics to offer 39 service lines of specialty care. Our urology specialty clinic is seeking a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join the team. This is a full time employment position through CHRISTUS St.

The urology team provides a full range of services to diagnose and treat a variety of genitourinary problems such as: bladder cancer, prostate cancer, prostatitis, urinary retention and frequency, nocturia, kidney stones, renal failure, masses and growths, chronic UTI's and hematuria. The Advanced Practitioner will: Gather medical history and physical data on patients Perform a complete physical exam, interpret and integrate patient data to determine appropriate diagnostic & therapeutic plans and procedures, and record findings Consult with other caregivers to coordinate patient care Order appropriate laboratory and diagnostics Administer injections, immunizations and oral medications Procedures performed include: catheter changes, urodynamics (UDS), percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation (PTNS). Prepare written prescription orders for drugs, controlled substances and advise patients regarding health and illness prevention.

Requirements Requirements: Current licensure as an NP or PA. Graduation from an accredited NP or PA training program and certified by an accredited certification agency; Current CPR Certification. 2 years experience preferred, but may consider new graduates.
