Avera is currently seeking Physician Assistant (PA) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera's patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

• Provides a full range of cardiology, critical care and internal medicine services and consultation services to patients at the clinic and hospital.

• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status.

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Current SD PA license is required.

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required.

• CPR is required.

Work Schedule

• Day shift; 80 hours every 2 weeks

• Monday

• Thursday, 8:00am

• 5:00 pm

• Friday, 8:00 am

• 12:00 pm

• Occasional weekend (Occasional call weekend)
• Occasional holiday (Occasional call holiday)
• Occasional call time
