Position Summary

Opportunities with MinuteClinic include a variation of full-time, part-time and weekend schedules in all of our clinics, ranging from 20 - 40 hours a week.

Working autonomously, MinuteClinic Physician Assistants (PA) conduct physical assessments, perform and interpret diagnostic tests, diagnose and treat common conditions, provide screenings, interventions, counseling, and prescribe medications as needed to patients in specified age categories. Provide accurate assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of common family illnesses for patients over 18 months.

  • Help patients manage their well-being with vaccinations and patient education

  • Ensure patient information, visit history, refer outs, lab follow-up, phone calls, and consults are carefully and completely documented in the EMR

  • Identify opportunities within local communities for development of outreach activities

  • Daily use of computer, software programs (EMR), printer, scanner, and credit/debit card equipment

  • Develop a close working relationship with store manager and pharmacist at the clinic location

  • Perform non-clinical tasks as required (e.g. reporting, vaccination temperature management, maintain clinic appearance)

  • Complete financial responsibilities pertaining to customer payments

  • Willing to travel to other local MinuteClinic locations when necessary

Required Qualifications

  • Current PA license in applicable state

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience

Additionally, individual will be responsible for picking up supplies for facilities department. Finally, individual will be responsible for light maintenance needs at corporate center and assistance with deliveries. Professionalism and strong customer service necessary during all interactions. Must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Essential Functions: 1. Ability to follow and obey all rules and regulations under the Company Policy & Procedures Manual, Company Car, Driver's Policy. 2. Drives vans to and from home clinic to corporate location. 3. Communicates with all staff in a professional manner. 4. Provide delivery and pick-up of supplies to other Company locations as needed. 5. Utilize strong customer service in all interactions. 6. Assist with any van maintenance such as assisting that vehicle is vacuumed and/or washed prior to return to clinic. 7. Ability to follow and obey all State and Local laws. 8. Responsible for grounds maintenance for the Corporate office; individual will be required to walk the property once in the morning, once prior to the end of individual's work shift (schedule), and as necessary and/or requested to ensure proper upkeep of grounds maintenance. 9. Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the Corporate office; the Fleet Driver will be required to walk throughout the Corporate office on an on-going basis to ensure office is in neat condition and that all equipment is in working order; a. Checking lights & light fixtures b. Checking paint on walls c. Checking faucets, toilets, and any other equipment available inside restrooms. d. Any items beyond the scope of work of the fleet maintenance driver will be reported back to Maintenance Supervisor to repair 10. Maintain all light fixtures in clinics. 11. Perform minor repairs. 12. Repair any piece of equipment that belongs to any area or department outside maintenance. 13. Patch and paint all interior and exterior surfaces. 14. Maintain all paint equipment in good condition. 15. Complete work in a safe and timely fashion. 16. Perform duties in a clean and safe manner using all precautions necessary at all times with paints, chemicals, lacquers, sprays and any other potentially dangerous equipment and supplies. 17. Perform all tasks necessary with regards to corporate preventative maintenance program. 18. Must have the ability to learn and use knowledge of basic clinic operation. 19. Must have the ability to learn new skills as required to fill job responsibilities. 20. Keep all work areas clean, orderly and in a safe working environment. 21. The ability to maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees 22.
