The Physical Therapy Clinical Education Placement and Admission Coordinator is a 12 month position which assists with Program and Clinical Education administration. The position works closely with and provides support to the Program Director and Director of Clinical Education. The Program Coordinator will also serve as the program's admission liaison.
Responsibilities:
Clinical Education: (30 hours/week)
Under the direction of the Directors of Clinical Education (DCE)
Management of current year clinical placement requests
Preparation and management of following year clinical placement requests
Maintain up to date site and contact information for all affiliated sites
Supporting onboarding and review of medical requirements of students prior to clinical placements
Reviewing student assessments and weekly notes; complete mid-term check-ins
Other miscellaneous tasks related to management of clinical education.
Other duties as needed to assist the DCEs.
Participate in clinical site visits.
Admission Liaison and Other Responsibilities (10 hours/week)
Liaison with Admissions for program promotion
Monthly webinars
Graduate open houses
Program open houses
Candidate reviews
Student information sessions
Application reviews dissemination
Meet with prospective students
Overview of Program requirements upon Program admission.
Other duties as needed to support the Program.
Qualifications:
Current physical therapy or eligibility for licensure in the state of Wisconsin
Minimum of five years clinical experience as a physical therapist
Experience as a clinical instructor preferred.
Ability to collaborate with multiple individuals and offices
Superior communication skills
Superior organizational skills
Technology Skills
Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Teams
Experience with EXXAT database preferred
Adaption to new software technology
