Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Job Description/Requirements:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant you will:

  • Implement the care plan as established by the Physical Therapist and the physician.

  • Educate patients/families in basic home safety and medical equipment safety as applicable to services provided.

  • Coordinate physical therapy services with other agency personnel by participating in care conferences, keeping agency informed of all changes.

  • Communicate findings and changes in condition of patients to the Physical Therapist.

Requirements of Qualified Candidates:

  • Associates degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy

  • Valid license/registration or permit to practice in state of agency operation

  • Must possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role

  • Ability to travel in order to accomplish all duties as outlined in job description

  • Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured and in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and in good working order

VIEW JOBS 10/15/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-13T00:00 General Summary This position is responsible for learning the functions, procedures, activities and responsibilities associated with performing work working on gas compression equipment, components and instruments (e.g., pumps, controllers, valves, etc.) at shop location under general supervision. Duties include learning from and assisting Shop Mechanics with maintenance, repairs and overhauls. The purpose of the trainee level is to acquire a degree of proficiency in performing all maintenance actions with direct supervision that will allow for progression to the Shop Mechanic I level. Principle Duties & Responsibilities * Represents the Company in a professional manner at all times while providing outstanding customer service that aligns with Enerflex visions and values. * Responsible for performing work on gas compression equipment, components and instruments (pumps, controllers, valves, etc.) * Becoming familiar with standard operating procedures relative to gas compressor maintenance and repair * Gaining proficiency to accurately and efficiently diagnose mechanical problems * Assist in the replacement and overhaul of compressors, checking bearings, crankshaft, etc * Assist in disassembling gas compressor parts and equipment. * Cleans gas compressor parts and equipment. * Assist in reassembling parts. * Gaining engine repair proficiency. * Adheres to all Company and government safety regulations. * Other duties assigned by manager. Job Specifications * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or vocational/technical aptitude or interest * Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and post offer physical testing. * The candidate must have a valid motor vehicle driver's license. * Must have basic mechanical and electrical aptitude such as basic automotive, industrial maintenance, etc. * Must be able to demonstrate an ability to learn in both a hands-on and classroom setting. * Proficiency with a computer and common applicable functions/programs is preferred. Working Conditions While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and adverse outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Physical Demand While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly/frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and Infrequently/occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
