Parkwood Healthcare is recruiting for a full time, hospitality focused Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). This role of a Physical Therapy Assistant promotes quality, continuity and safety of a client's care and supervised by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a PTA:

• Provides or makes provision for client care in compliance with Physical Therapy Practice Act, physicians' orders, and Clinical Pathways as they become available.

• Ensures quality and safe delivery of physical therapy assistant services to clients and training for families/caregivers.

• Assesses the client's status by reviewing and implementing the plan of care

• Initiates and applies appropriate preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative procedures and techniques and maintains communication regarding client care with the physician and supervisory personnel.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• Possesses a degree from a program in physical therapy approved by an accredited organization.

• Is licensed to practice as physical therapy assistant within the State of Texas.

• Has at least two years of appropriate experience as a physical therapy assistant.
