Parkwood Healthcare is recruiting for a full time, hospitality focused Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). This role of a Physical Therapy Assistant promotes quality, continuity and safety of a client's care and supervised by a licensed Physical Therapist.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a PTA:
Provides or makes provision for client care in compliance with Physical Therapy Practice Act, physicians' orders, and Clinical Pathways as they become available.
Ensures quality and safe delivery of physical therapy assistant services to clients and training for families/caregivers.
Assesses the client's status by reviewing and implementing the plan of care
Initiates and applies appropriate preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative procedures and techniques and maintains communication regarding client care with the physician and supervisory personnel.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
Possesses a degree from a program in physical therapy approved by an accredited organization.
Is licensed to practice as physical therapy assistant within the State of Texas.
Has at least two years of appropriate experience as a physical therapy assistant.
