Under the direction of a physical therapist, the PTA will assist in improving basic motor functioning, balance and functional mobility to ensure optimal function for patients discharging to the community. The unit serves a broad mix of diagnosis, with CARF accreditation for the Stroke, Brain Injury and Amputee programs. The PTA will have the opportunity to work on an interdisciplinary team focused on patient-centered and holistic care.

This candidate will work every weekend and receive the weekend shift differential. You will be expected to work 1 shift during the week as well.

Basic Qualifications:

Education

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent in accredited physical therapy assistant program

Licenses

  • Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Basic Life Support (BLS)
