Job Details

The inpatient Physical Therapy Aide works under the direct supervision of physical and occupational therapists and physical therapist assistants to assist with patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assists staff with patient care under therapist supervision

• Sets up of patient room prior to therapy session

• Follows IC protocols to maintain therapy equipment

• Maintains pars of therapy equipment on patient care units

• Patient population includes cardiac, orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, pulmonary and medical-surgical patient.

• Works with interdisciplinary therapy team

• Assist with routine operations of the department

Requirements:

• HS Diploma/GED required

• Experience in the health field preferred

• BLS certification

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to comply with all regulatory standards

Salary Range

USD $22.60 - USD $31.64 /Hr.
