Therapeutic Associates

  • Monroe is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our team! Therapeutic Associates specializes in orthopedics and manual therapy and pride ourselves on our one-on-one patient care and strong relationships with referral sources. We offer leadership training, the opportunity to become a clinic director & company owner, and unprecedented one-on-one clinical mentorship.

Ideal candidates will be motivated to grow their orthopedic clinical skills and help to build the practice. New grads are welcome and encouraged to apply. This position is eligible for benefits.

Schedule: Mon/Wed/Fri 9 am

  • 6 pm & Tues/Thurs 10 am

  • 7 pm

Duties & Responsibilities:

Physical Therapist is expected to conduct initial evaluations and accurately assess patient conditions to develop appropriate goals and treatment plans.

  • Must be able to work an established schedule with flexibility according to daily clinic needs and complete accurate documentation through EMR software (we are currently using Athena).

  • Therapist will be expected to meet the demands of the clinic's schedule, work effectively with support staff as appropriate, and perform other duties as required.

  • Ideal candidates will embrace their role as mentor and teammate, supporting other staff as needed and fostering the advancement of Therapeutic Associates as a learning organization.

  • Must demonstrate eagerness to advance clinical skills and develop personal leadership excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an institution accredited by Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education

  • Current State Physical Therapist License (or license applicant status)

  • Current CPR certification

The Monroe Correctional Complex (MCC) is a 2400 bed male all-custody level facility located 30 miles northeast of Seattle. The complex consists of four units; the original "reformatory", a large mental health inpatient treatment unit, a sex offender treatment unit and a minimum custody unit that also houses community corrections violators, much like a jail. Monroe is considered the hub of medical and psychiatric care for DOC. It is located close to University of Washington and Harborview Medical Center. MCC provides care for the sickest and most complicated patients in our system. We're looking for physicians who are passionate about providing team-based, integrated care to patients with complex and challenging health conditions. Our Physicians work in a multi-disciplinary environment treating many people that are disenfranchised from outside medicine with untreated maladies and unusual pathology's. Qualifications The successful candidate will have: * An unencumbered license to practice medicine in the State of Washington (or the ability to obtain prior to employment). * A current DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) registration. * Completed and approved residency program. * Board-certified or board eligible in primary care specialty (family practice, internal medicine) required. * Strong interpersonal skills and experience in directing medical operations. * Exceptional communication skills with the ability to provide education in a manner that enhances one to learn about their disease or chronic condition. * Communicate orally and in writing with a variety of individuals ranging from correctional administrator and staff, health care professionals to patient advocates and other laypersons.
