Under the direction of the Department Leadership the staff Physical Therapist evaluates, establishes goals, plans and performs treatment, assesses treatment effectiveness, and makes discharge recommendations.# In addition, the staff Physical Therapist promotes communication of patient care information among team members Minimum Education Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS degree or higher. Minimum Work Experience Previous clinical experience in hospital setting preferred. Required Licenses/Certifications Current Vermont State PT license.


BLS Certification through American Heart Association

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Ability to effectively communicate with physicians, allied heath professionals and patient/family. # Demonstrates ongoing patient and family teaching as evidenced through verbal and written guidelines. # Ability to extract and interpret patient/family clinical information through interviewing skills. # Ability to resolve and identify complex cases and potential discharge problems. Basic Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills. Pay Range = $32.01 - $51.15 # #

Minimum Education

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS degree or higher.

Minimum Work Experience

  • Previous clinical experience in hospital setting preferred.

Required Licenses/Certifications
