JOB SUMMARY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assesses, plans and implements treatment programs for patients according to established principles and practices of Physical Therapy.# Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team.# Oversees work of support personnel.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:# Graduate of an approved program for Physical Therapy.# Qualified by education, training or experience to work with the adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patients as specialty assignment dictates.

EXPERIENCE:

Experience in physical therapy as obtained through completion of an approved Physical Therapy program.# An ability and willingness to apply knowledge and skills and maintain clinical competency as required in a rehabilitation department.# Demonstrates skill in the use of applicable equipment; mature judgment and initiative required; is able to work without direct supervision; shows professional interest through self-development, continuing education, and involvement in professional organizations; presents a positive attitude and professional appearance.# Ability to give and follow written and oral instructions; ability to communicate effectively with others; ability to effectively record and reflect observations and progress; ability to plan and organize work for self and others; ability to exercise analytical judgment on work to be done.

LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION:

##Licensed to work in state of TN as Physical Therapist.# Current#CPR/BLS certification as required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

##Frequent standing and walking; exposure to infectious agents; lifting and positioning of patients, supplies and equipment.

Exerting up to
