Pay ranges from $36-40 hourly, DOE
Part time | Case building
HealthPRO Pediatrics is a multi-specialty, child and family-centered practice providing services that include OT, PT, ST, ABA, multidisciplinary Autism evaluations, reading evaluations, social skills groups and dyslexia tutoring. We also provide early intervention services for children ages 0-3 and school based related services. Our therapists incorporate various treatments to help children reach their milestones with confidence. Our collaborative approach to therapeutic and support services uses evidence-based practices to ensure the highest quality outcomes for children Our knowledgeable, compassionate clinicians help build a child's confidence and self-worth. Responsibilities
Provides skilled physical therapy treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results of patients.
Adheres to state requirements for supervision of PTAs to provide services with the highest care standards
Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing patients, recommending and/or providing assistive equipment; recommending follow-up programs.
Promptly and thoroughly documents and maintains clinical and administrative records regarding patient limitations/interventions, treatments, responses and progress to administered therapy as well as discharge summaries.
Maintains patient records confidentially.
Records treatment charges daily and completes documentation in accurate and timely manner.
Complies with the applicable State Physical Therapy Practice Act, codes and regulations
Additional Responsibilities:
Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to urgent/emergent situations per protocols.
Maintains clean work area, clean treatment rooms and requests needed supplies.
Maintains professional appearance and personal conduct at all times.
Complies with all company policies and procedures.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with co-workers and other professionals as it relates to collaboration of care for the patient.
Keeps regular clinic hours as approved by Manager.
Directs all patient scheduling matters through the front desk coordinator.
Attends meetings as requested.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program
Current State Physical Therapist license
Current CPR certification
Efficient problem-solving skills
Exceptional communication skills and time management skills
Must keep best interest of the client and family at the forefront of all activities
