Therapy Specialists is excited to announce an amazing opportunity to be part of San Diego's St. Paul's PACE program (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly). This innovative program is for individuals 55 years or older, who are living with chronic illness, or disabilities and need coordinated medical care to continue living as independently as possible in their home and community. The healthcare teams at St. Paul's provide a hands-on approach, coordinating medical, social, and home care services so individuals no longer need to manage their medical care alone.

This is a unique opportunity for a Full Time Physical Therapist (week days only) 30hrs to start, floating between the (3) locations here in San Diego (El Cajon, Bankers Hill and Chula Vista). The ideal candidate will have (1-3) years of experience in SNF, HH or AL / IL, be extremely flexible in supporting the needs of our participants at these locations around their scheduled appointments and needed services. Previous PACE or Adult Day Health experience a plus!


  • Average number of patients per day? Up to 8

  • Average number of evals per day? 1-2

  • Average number of weekly's per day? 2

  • Will there be concurrent therapy? Yes

  • Typical types of diagnosis seen? Behavioral, medical complexity, old CVA, arthritis

Special Qualifications:

  • Drive between sites on some days

  • Ability to work well with others on a team

  • General knowledge of working with the elderly and preventing decline and deterioration

  • Ability to evaluate and think outside the box for goals related to where they live

  • Supervise PTA (s) In this role you will supervise up to 2 PTA's

  • Report in care plan meeting

  • Use of group and concurrent during treatment

  • Use of computer and typing skills as notes are done electronically

  • Bilingual a PLUS!!
