Evaluates, administers and directs administration of therapeutic procedures utilized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as prescribed by a referring practitioner if required. Establishes goals of physical therapy and re-assesses patient's progress at regular, timely intervals, supporting findings with appropriate documentation. Develops and promotes the physical therapy component of the treatment plan, working closely with the referring physician.
Entry level Degree in Physical Therapy (BS, MS, or DPT) from a school accredited by the accreditation body sanctioned by the American Physical Therapy Association.
New graduates or experienced candidates
Licensed (or eligible) Physical Therapist in the Commonwealth of Virginia. AHA BLS Provider required
