Certified Lymphedema Physical Therapist

IUH Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation is looking for a Certified Lymphedema Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team! As a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, you will be responsible for providing specialized care and treatment to individuals diagnosed with lymphatic system disorders, primarily lymphedema. You will assess, evaluate, and develop customized treatment plans to manage and improve lymphedema symptoms, promote overall well-being, and enhance patients' quality of life. Utilizing your expertise in manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) techniques, compression therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education, you will play a crucial role in helping patients manage their condition effectively.

Requirements

  • Requires graduation from an accredited academic program in physical therapy.

  • If foreign trained, graduation from a physical therapy education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA.

  • Requires current Physical Therapist license in the State of Indiana.

  • Valid certification as a Lymphedema Therapist, such as Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) or Certified Lymphedema and Wound Therapist (CLWT), from a recognized training program.

  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.

  • Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
