Overview

KORT is Kentucky's premier provider of outpatient physical and occupational therapy specializing in orthopedics, sports and industrial medicine. Since 1987, KORT has provided clinical and customer service excellence to patients in our clinics, at employer sites, and with high school, college, and professional sports teams.

Location: New Albany, IN

Compensation starting at $68,000 annual base. Potential for $4200 annually in student debt relief, and up to $10,000 sign on bonus!

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and administers physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, muscle, nerve, joint and bone disorders or diagnoses to restore function, relieve pain and prevent disability. He/She makes independent judgments regarding patient care and incorporates procedures into a workable treatment program without supervision.

Also, he/she maintains communication with physicians, staff and general public, supervise PTA's, technicians, students, and office staff; direct, participate in and present continuing education programs; and assume administrative/supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the clinic director. Full-time and part-time positions are available

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

This position requires a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an APTA accredited university

Professional Licensure in the State of Indiana

Outpatient clinical rotation in lieu of recent (last 5 years) outpatient experience

CPR certification is mandatory
