PRN/PER DIEM POSITION. Genesis Rehab Services is a leading provider of Physical, Occupational, Speech and Respiratory Therapy for older adults in skilled nursing facilities, independent and assisted living communities, CCRCs, Transitional Care Units, patients' homes, hospitals, adult day care programs and outpatient clinics throughout the US.

Genesis Rehab Services is now hiring a Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitation services in one or more of our service locations!

The Physical Therapist is responsible for assessing the need for, developing and delivering physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
1.Develop and implement individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce and enhance performance
2.Identify need for and make referral to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of the patient
3.Instruct, educate and train patients and caregivers in the skills and functions essential for promoting patient independence and productivity, in order to diminish or correct pathology
4.Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, temporary licensees, students and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards

1.Requires valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility 2. Requires a Master's degree in Physical Therapy; or Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience (a qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the US must be evaluated to be the US equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy) 3. Requires good organizational and time management skills 4. Requires good verbal and written communication skills

Positions will require employee to perform line work positions and skilled positions to include; operate loading and packaging machines, palletize product, package product, inspect product, and perform in-shift sanitation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Ability and willingness to assist in other areas of the department and business as needed. * Ability to perform general tasks to include; sanitation, machine operation, product packaging and palletizing. * Complete required paperwork for position including, quality checks, downtime paperwork, mix sheets, and weight checks. * Follow all GMP, Safety, and Food Safety procedures and policies. * Ability to learn and rotate into different positions within the department. * Ability to inspect eggs at the level required to ensure poor quality eggs and egg shells do not get into the finished product. Requires the ability to understand acceptable and unacceptable egg quality. * Make boxes, label boxes and pails, and Palletize product using the correct palletizing patterns for the product being produced. * Package product into boxes ensuring the correct product count for every box. * Perform in-process sanitation to keep production area clean and minimize risk to finished product. * Gather, weigh, and document "Bits and Pieces" generated during production. * Operate and maintain Multivac and pail filler equipment to meet throughput goals set for the department. Requires the ability to be able to troubleshoot potential problems with the filler and correct minor issues to minimize downtime. * Operate and maintain Egg Loading equipment to meet the throughput goals for the department. Requires the employee to be able to troubleshoot, fix or communicate basic mechanical issues including machine timing to help minimize egg loss and meet throughput goals. * Ability to operate an electric and manual pallet jack to move eggs and packaging materials into work areas. * Clean Shell Egg materials including pallets, dividers, and flats. * Ability to operate pallet jack to move pallets of eggs into the loading room and empty pallets and flats from the loading room. * Ability to learn and follow the correct cleaning procedures and safety requirements. * Ability to follow instructions from the leads and supervisors as well as company procedures and policies. * Fosters open communications and a good attitude toward work and fellow employees. * Maintain regular and consistent attendance. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
