Sentara Home Care is seeking a Physical Therapist for their Suffolk, VA

As a Physical Therapist (PT) with Sentara, you evaluate and treat patients with a variety of mobility impairments. You help them every day with regaining a piece of their independence and seeing their success.

  • Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.

  • Provides age appropriate education for clients and caregivers.

  • Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

This position's primary duties include transferring, ambulating, assisting with exercises, gait training, stair climbing, and balance. You will find that teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to ensure the best care for our patients.

Job Summary

BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree: Physical Therapy (Required)

Basic Life Support (BLS)
