PTs serve as a patient and rehabilitation advocate for current and prospective patients, and to all internal and external customers. They are expected to conduct themselves as a positive role model and team member. PAs should be able to make responsible decisions within the scope of a dependent medical practitioner. Responsibilities Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Assessing patient condition, establishing goals, treatments and care plans in conjunction with patient/family * Ensuring that appropriate treatment is performed in interdisciplinary fashion; consulting with physicians and other departments about the impact of physical therapy factors on patient health status * Documenting treatments and other patient information for medical record * Educating patient/family on appropriate care of various therapies/exercises, such as proper body mechanics and home exercise programs * Contributing to the progress and development of the organization's adopted compliance program * Reporting observed or suspected safety violations, hazards, and policy/procedure noncompliance to the safety officer * Analyzing work area and making recommendations for potential cost-effective improvements * Complying with appropriate clinic policies related to infection control, safety, regulations Experience Minimum two years experience as Physical Therapist, preferably in a clinic setting License/Certification BS in Physical Therapy Successful completion of clinical internship Current California PT license Share this listing with a friend * JMA HRM Fremont CA
