Select Physical Therapy is seeking an outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant in Boston, MA

Select Medical in Boston, Massachusetts is currently seeking a FULL time PTA for an exciting and dynamic industrial setting! We are expanding our industrial team that partners with Delta Air Lines at the BOS airport for Injury Prevention services. This will be a 40 hour per week position for a licensed PTA, including the possibility of some evening and weekend hours.

Job responsibilities for this position include OnSite coverage of an industrial client: Early Symptom Intervention, Ergonomics and Injury Prevention. Industrial experience is a plus, but not necessary.

Schedule: Monday through Friday with some evening and weekend hours

Compensation: Salary starting at $55k (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities, under the direction of a Program Manager:

• Full time OnSite coverage for industrial customer

• Early Symptom Intervention with providing enhanced first aid services

• Implement injury prevention strategies for the industrial setting such as individual and group conditioning, functional assessments, and behavioral modification

• Health and wellness consultations and support

• Office ergonomics

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• BS Degree preferred

• PTA Certification

• MA state license

• Minimum one year clinical experience preferred, Industrial setting experience a plus

• CSCS or equivalent certification a plus

• Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification

• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
