Physical Therapist Assistant - Home Health

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), under the direction of the Rehab Director/Manager and Licensed Physical Therapist, provides treatment, exercise instruction, and patient education in the homecare setting as directed by the Physical Therapist. Performs treatment interventions to achieve short and/or long-term goals as prescribed on the Plan of Care. The PTA performs other duties as assigned by PT and/or Rehab Director/Manager. # Minimum Requirements # Education

Graduate of PTA program approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education of the American Physical Therapy Association

One (1) year of clinical experience # License/Registration/Certifications

Current license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in South Carolina Valid SC Driver

Education
