Physical Therapist Assistant

Overview:As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall physical well-being. If you have a passion for patient care and possess the necessary qualifications, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Help patients do specific exercises as part of the plan of care.

- Treat patients using a variety of techniques

- Use devices and equipment, such as walkers, to help patients

- Educate patients and family members about what to do after treatment.
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for home exercise programs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes

Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
- Valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience in outpatient settings is preferred
- Familiarity with geriatrics is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
