Job Title: Physical Substation Engineer

Job Description

The Physical Substation Engineer performs comprehensive design tasks for high voltage (4kV - 230kV) and EHV (above 230kV) substation projects, including the development of general arrangements, plan views/elevation views, and grounding plans. This role entails providing specifications for major primary equipment such as transformers, breakers, and switches, and conducting grounding, lighting, AC/DC, and bus fault analysis studies. The engineer will also provide technical support for procurement and construction, impacting multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Hard Skills

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering

• Experience in Physical Substation design

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation

Soft Skills

• Ability to provide technical support

• Capability to impact multiple projects

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in NA, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid or fully remote working opportunity depending on experience level. Engineers with 3-7 years of experience will be required to work in-office a few days per week under the guidance of more tenured Engineers, while Senior Level Engineers have the opportunity to work fully remote.
